Fernando Zunzunegui

 

Is an independent lawyer and consultant, specialized in Financial Law and Regulated Sectors (environment), recommended by Chambers & Partners,  recognized in the sectors: Banking & Finance: Financial Services Regulation, Dispute Resolution and Fintech, associate of Ascom; trustee in bankruptcy, Member of the Advisory Committee of FECIF, arbitrator and EFPA’s financial regulation advisor.

He is a Professor of Banking and Securities Law at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, with excellent evaluations. He holds a Ph.D. in Banking Law, a master in Company and Bankruptcy Law, and degrees in Law and Economics. Previously, he was the legal advisor of the Spanish Central Securities Depository (SCLV/Iberclear). He is the author of the study ‘Mortgage Credit’ comissioned by European Parliament, author of the reference book for professionals and students, Financial Market Law (Derecho del Mercado Financiero), and other books and articles on financial regulation. Furthermore, he is a frequent contributor and columnist in the economic press in Spain.
