Frank Rottenbacher (54) has been working in the financial sector since 1988. In 1990 he founded the GOING PUBLIC! Akademie für Finanzberatung AG and has held the position of executive board member there ever since. Since 2004, he has also been a member of the board of the AfW Bundesverband Finanzdienstleistung e.V., Germany's largest politically active insurance brokers' association. The AfW also represents the interests of independent financial investment and real estate loan brokers in Germany.

Frank Rottenbacher has been invited several times as an expert to the Finance Committee as well as the Economics Committee of the Deutsche Bundestag (German Parliament). He is also a member of the advisory board of BaFin, the German financial supervisory authority.
